How to choose gloves:

(4-6) oz - children up to 6 years old
8 oz - children 6-12 years old and women with small hands
10 oz - most commonly used in tournaments
10-12 oz - bag training or sparring for people weighing 65-75 kg
14 oz - people weighing 78-90 kg
16 oz for a person weighing 90 - 110 kg
18 oz for people over 100 kg. Trainers often use 18 oz for individual training.
